Hello OSC members!
Our club dive in February is at Sunrise Resort and Sund Rock on February 15 and 16. I have included descriptions of the events below. Please contact me through the Website or Facebook page if you have questions and to let me know if you are coming.
Sunrise Resort, Saturday 2/15
Our Hood Canal weekend starts with a relaxing day of diving at Sunrise Resort. Bring your Valentine! Easy in and out, good for divers of all levels. This is where Spencer got that great shark video. February water visibility can be very good.
I am planning to stay Friday night (2/14) and Saturday night. (2/15) The resort website with reservation links is:

Here is some info from Shawn and Diana, the owners:
"We are looking forward to your dive club visit. We have a 2-bedroom waterfront house, a brand new 2-bedroom cottage, some remodeled rooms, an espresso bar and 12”-inch pizza for $15 in our pizza oven and electric vehicle car charging for $12.
We also have diver services with air fills for $10, BBQs and a hot tub on the water. We are pet friendly with a $25 pet fee, free parking and WIFI and live streaming movies on Hulu live, prime and Netflix."
At some point during the day, we'll meet for a scuba gear drawing and talk about having dinner in Hoodsport.
Sund Rock Sunday 2/16
We will meet at Sund Rock Marine Preserve in the morning on Sunday. Be sure to get your entry time reservation at the following website:
I will get there at 9:00.
Once you have your reservation, DM me and I can move you to 9:00 AM, when I arrive, and we can go in as a group.
Sund Rock is a great site for wolf eels, octos and schooling fish. Easy in and out, good for all divers. Visibility should be good in February.
Sometime during the day we'll have a scuba gear drawing for club members.
Thanks, John McGinity
